‘Tis the season for ice skating, NYE parties and warm gatherings with friends or family. This is the most wonderful time of the year for adding new outfits to your closet! Whether you’re headed to a look at lights, baking cookies or going to a party, Pulse has you covered with cozy and stylish outfit ideas!
Outfit Idea #1: Stay Warm and Cute in a Sherpa
Cozy sherpas are the best for cold winter days this holiday season. Sherpas have been trending over the last few years and are very versatile! Here at Pulse, we have a large variety of buffalo plaid, tie-dye and leopard print sherpas. They are easy to throw on with fleece lined leggings and boots for a cute outfit you can wear while ice skating, picking out a Christmas tree or baking cookies at home. For this outfit, we paired our Cozy by The Fire Buffalo Plaid Sherpa with a pair of our leggings and some combat boots.
Outfit Idea #2: Sparkle All Night Long
There’s no better time to add some sparkle to your outfit than during the holidays. New Years Eve is a great opportunity to grab a style with sequins or glitter for a fun and bold look. We like to find pieces that have just a touch of sparkle like our Holiday Magic Sequin Color Block Top or Not Rated Fiera Booties. Pieces like this are more wearable for casual outings. But if you are looking for a more bold look, then go for a fully sequined top and make it the focal piece of the outfit. The outfit we ended up putting together features our sequin tank top in charcoal with black jeans and sparkly black booties. We would recommend styling this with a black blazer or leather jacket to make it more winter-friendly.
Outfit Idea #3: Oh So Comfy
Cardigans never go out of style and are so essential for your holiday outfits! We love cardigans because they allow you to add warmth to an outfit while also bringing the entire look together. You can use cardigans as the accent piece of your outfit like we mentioned in our How to Put Outfits Together Quickly and Easily Blog Post. For this outfit, we decided to grab a plain white tee and pair it with a longer-fitting knit cardigan. We finished it off with dark wash non-distressed jeans or leggings and sparkly booties for a touch of style. This look is a more casual look that could be worn while gift shopping or to dinner with friends.
Outfit Idea #4: When in Doubt, Wear a Sweater
Outfit Idea #5: Ready To Party
As we already mentioned, adding some sparkle to an outfit is great for special occasions this winter. But if you are wanting an outfit that doesn’t involve sparkles or sequins, try going for a babydoll top, silky blouse or lace top and pair it with some black jeans for a trendy outfit you can wear to holiday parties or Christmas Eve. Add a pair of booties or heels and some statement earrings to dress it up even more. For this look, we took one of our favorite neutral colored babydoll tops and spiced it up with a pair of distressed black jeans and our Very G sparkly booties.
